Rising chef Muhammad Fariz has just returned from a stint in Norway after winning the Otto Weibel Seafood Scholarship to work in leading Norwegian chef Sven Eric Renna’s eponymous restaurant, Renna. In Norway Fariz gained a new appreciation for Scandinavian cuisine, which is reflected in his cutting-edge Nordic menus. Fariz has cooked in Moosehead Kitchen and Bar as well as Au Petit Salut in Singapore. Fariz specialises in Nordic cuisine cooked with the freshest seasonal produce.
