Chef Asai Masashi hails from the Hyōgo Prefecture, a place where pristine and exquisite ingredients from both sea and land can be found in abundance. Growing up near such amazing produce inspired Asai-san to move to Osaka and delve into the magical world of food. Asai-san graduated from the famed Abeno Tsuji Culinary institute and spent the next thirteen years learning skills and techniques on traditional Japanese cuisine from the best chefs in Hyōgo, Osaka and Kyoto. A man who loved adventure and challenge, Asai-san came to Singapore in 2002 and spent the next ten years launching, leading and overseeing Japanese concept restaurants. In 2013, He collaborated with Unlisted Collection to launch dual concept Yakitori restaurant Bincho.
