Chef Jonathan Koh

Growing up in a family that has lived and breathed the F&B industry for four generations, Jonathan Koh's passion for food began at a young age and it came as no surprise to anyone when he declared that he would become a chef. Having dedicated the better part of his life to cooking, Jonathan has worked alongside dozens of Michelin-starred chefs all over the world. Through meticulous observation and toiling ceaselessly to better himself, Jonathan has come to respect his ingredients, or as he puts it, gifts of nature. He likens nature to an artist's masterpiece, and sees the beauty in even the simplest ingredients. While his dishes are made from basic ingredients like potatoes, leeks and tomatoes, people who have tasted his fare always comment on the thought and passion that went into the cooking and are amazed at how Jonathan can turn humble food into a gourmet meal.

We booked Clubvivre for our engagement party and it was one of best decisions ever. We wanted a small and cozy dinner for 15 people. Even though we are quite a difficult group to please (our parents are quite old and very picky with their food), Clubvivre chef managed to tailor his menu to fit everyone's preference. Totally worth the money. Thank you Clubvivre for adding in more lovely memories to our engagement party. We would definitely book Clubvivre again for our wedding.

We heard about Clubvivre when we read about them in the papers, and decided to try it for my 30th birthday celebration with my family. Modern French cuisine is one of my favourite cuisines and we were happy with the menu of Chef Jonathan's. My wife and I heard about private chefs before but wasn't actually aware that restaurants participate and would send down chefs for events. My wife enjoys French food very much so I chose Jonathan. Great food, worth the money, and we wery happy with the professionalism and clean up of the kitchen afterwards.

I wasn't sure if private chefs would take on small dinner for two but we found Clubvivre, who were able to help us with our planning. It was a cozy experience and Chef Jonathan's food was splendid. My husband is very particular about the doneness of his beef and Chef Jonathan achieve the perfect he requested perfectly.
