Chef Matteo Pertoldi

A structural engineer and architect by training, Chef Matteo has lived in Italy, France and Singapore. Besides his studies and career working on iconic architectural projects over the last ten years, he has simultaneously been pursuing his real passion which is food and hospitality. His dishes are rooted in the Italian and French traditions but speak of the fusion of cultures, being influenced by exotic ingredients and diverse cooking techniques. He says “Cooking is closer to architecture than we could think, they are just different applications of artistic skills and scientific knowledge, starting from your experience of the world.”

Just to say a Big THANK YOU to Matteo and his team, it was a little hard to get together in the start owing to the fact we shifted venue BUT they did a very good job and the guests very much appreciated Matteo's cuisine which- I must say- for the Greek aspects- turned out to be very authentic and true to the original indeed! The linguine were 'excellenté' Too much food (a good complaint to have) but the guests ate every last bite on their plates which is a compliment in itself. We will for sure contact you and request Matteo to whip us up some of his own inspirations next time and I will onboard him for some other dishes for Greek dinners as the need may arise.

I wanted a special dinner for Valentine’s day, we both hate cooking, and we are both tired of the typical restaurant, this year I needed to come up with something more special. I had heard about Clubvivre from a friend but never think of using this service. Afterward I totally recommend it! Chef Matteo’s menu « L’Amore » was just perfect for that night. My wife was so surprised and delighted but I actually didn’t have to take care of anything! Next time I won’t hesitate to choose Clubvivre for sure.

It’s surprising what you can do in such a small apartment as mine. In my simple kitchen Chef Matteo prepared an amazing Italian menu, my friends really enjoyed having our dinner table next to the chef. It was really fun seeing Matteo cooking and plating for us. Can really recommend trying out the dining-in experience!
