Chef Javed Ahamad

Chef Javed Ahamad, the Corporate Chef at Punjab Grill, Singapore is probably the premier exponent of creating unique Indian dishes for the Singaporean palate. Spending more than 11 years in various Indian restaurants in Singapore, Chef Javed has refined his skills and raised the bar of Indian cuisine – including coming out with Singapore’s first Indian style champagne brunch, the first Ayurveda based menu and a variety of other themed menus. Chef Javed has trained and worked with a variety of noted chefs like Mr. Jiggs Kalra, Chef Milind Somani, Chef Vineet Bhatia and Chef Gurpreet Singh and for him “ Life is an ever changing journey of learning and creating “. His constant thirst for knowledge and perfection has landed him a variety of accolades starting with his winning the Gold Award for Nestle Star Young Chef of the Year in 2001 with awards along the way from the restaurant association of Singapore, Sphere Culinary Challenge, WGS to name a few.

I was surprised that my dining room could be so nicely decorated. Our Chef surprised us with his special dessert which was amazing. Nice to be in such good hands! No cooking of washing the dishes – all taken care of. Can totally recommend it!

I've heard great comments from friends about Chef Javed Ahamad's modern Indian cuisine so I decided to try booking him for a birthday party I was celebrating with some friends and family flying into Singapore. First of all, the food was fantastic and Chef Javed's wealth of experience shined through as he introduced his dishes and interacted with my guests. Clubvivre's staff arrived punctually and was a great help to ensure my party ran smoothly and my guests were happy. Thank you for the wonderful memory!

My friends and I were looking to organise a BBQ at our condo function area and wanted to try something a little different. We all loved Indian food and was interested to experience Chef Javed's Indian grill menu. The food was amazing, and we especially enjoyed the Gilawat Kebab Stuffed with Foie Gras and the Coriander Pesto Lamb. Chef Javed was friendly and attentive through out the party and ensure food was prepared freshly in batches and served timely from the grill. Thank you and we're excited to book Clubvivre for a next occasion!

I was unsure when booking chef Javed for the first time as my parents are quite old and not very keen on exotic flavours. But it all went well. Chef Javed adjusted his menu to our liking and was very generous in the portion. Funny enough, my parents now love Indian food. Very good job, chef Javed.

We had such a lovely dinner with Javed. All the dishes were balanced: beef and cheddar cheese, fish and lime sauce, contrasting flavours that complement each other very well. On top of that, Javed was really friendly when explaining the origin of each dish to us. I can say that it was the best Indian meal we have had so far.
