A successful businesswoman turned chef and food entrepreneur, graduated from the prestigious Institute of Culinary Education in NYC, worked in leading NYC restaurants in 1980s (Quilted Giraffe, March Restaurant) Owner of the Coriander Leaf restaurant and the Screening Room bar/lounge, combining her love for food and film. Widely publicized, author of cookbook, “Simply Samia”, and 2 TV shows including one on Asian Food Channel (Jul 2008) Chef Samia Ahad specializes in South Asian, Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine
